Two Polish Bars Featured in the Inaugural Europe's 50 Best Bars Ranking
50 Best has unveiled the inaugural edition of Europe's 50 Best Bars. The first-ever ranking includes two Polish venues – Tag in Kraków made the main list, while Art in Katowice received the Campari One To Watch Award 2026, presented annually to a bar considered likely to join Europe's top 50 in the coming years.
Finishing 39th in Europe, Tag was also named The Best Bar in Poland 2026, awarded to the country's highest-ranked venue.

Already featured in 50 Best Discovery, Tag takes its name from graffiti tags – the signature marks of street artists. That concept carries through to the bar itself, where contemporary cocktail culture meets an experimental approach to flavours and presentation.
The second Polish venue recognised this year was Art in Katowice. Opened in 2024 by Monika Kaźmierczak and Krzysztof Czemera, the bar was conceived as a space where contemporary mixology intersects with art.
Alongside its cocktail programme, Art hosts exhibitions by Polish artists, while its interior incorporates recycled materials – including denim collected through a public campaign.

The inaugural Europe's 50 Best Bars ceremony took place in Amsterdam on 30 June. Athens' Line claimed the top spot, while the ranking featured bars from 22 cities across Europe.
