The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2026 to Take Place in Lima Instead of Abu Dhabi

For the first time in the ranking's 24-year history, the awards will be presented in Peru. The choice of host city seems fitting: Lima is home to Maido, currently ranked No. 1 in the world in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025.

Alongside the awards ceremony, the programme will traditionally include 50 Best Talks, the Signature Sessions dinner series, the Chefs' Feast festival, and several other events taking place over the days leading up to the announcement of the ranking.
