Crash Club Returns to Warsaw for a New Edition

One of the most striking spots of this year’s Warsaw Gallery Weekend is Crash Club, set inside a partially ruined historic palace on Bracka Street.

One of the more unusual projects of this year’s Warsaw Gallery Weekend, Crash Club has returned to Warsaw in a new location at Bracka 5A. The project runs from 16 to 20 September, bringing together several galleries and contemporary art projects inside the old building.

Crash Club last took place in Warsaw in 2024 and was, perhaps, the project that stood out most to me from that year’s Warsaw Gallery Weekend. As in 2024, contemporary art once again fills the rooms of a partially ruined historic palace.

The setting has changed, though: instead of the beautiful building at Al. Ujazdowskie 22, where the project was held in 2024, Crash Club has now moved to Bracka 5A.

The 2026 edition brings together BD Gallery, Stroboskop Space, Lisowski Gallery, Przeciąg, KODA Art Project, HOS Gallery, Bliss Gallery and Gunia Nowik Gallery and lots of other artists. The participating galleries occupy different parts of the building, with artworks and installations placed throughout its rooms and unfinished interiors.

As in 2024, an important part of the exhibition – and one that fits its setting particularly well – is Raskal’s pop-up wine bar. Wine is served by candlelight inside the palace, while the courtyard offers another place to sit with a glass between visits to the galleries.

Crash Club is open Wednesday 16 September and Thursday 17 September from 19:00 to 23:00, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September from 16:00 to 23:00, and Sunday 20 September from 16:00 to 21:00.
