Cała w Mące Opens in Saska Kępa
Monika Walecka, the founder of Cała w Mące, continues bringing some of Warsaw's finest bread to new neighbourhoods. This time, the cult artisan bakery has arrived in Saska Kępa with a new location at 10A Francuska Street.
The move happened remarkably quickly. Just five days ago, Kukułka announced it would close its café at the very same address. By yesterday, the space was already hosting the opening party for Cała w Mące. Checkmate.

Cała w Mące has built its reputation on naturally fermented breads with Monika Walecka's signature deeply caramelised, crunchy crust. The selection includes excellent spelt loaves, baguettes and dark rye breads, while seasonal bakes – from summer jagodzianki to Christmas panettone – have become another hallmark of the bakery. It feels like exactly the kind of neighbourhood bakery Saska Kępa had been missing. The bakery's official opening is scheduled for 4 August.
Meanwhile, Kukułka is not leaving the eastern bank of the Vistula altogether. The owners have confirmed plans to reopen in the Bogema residential development, near Szwedzka metro station and Epicurien.
